I seek land to keep equines used for therapeutic & adaptive activities for disabled people and veterans.
Goals, Values, Vision
I am seeking low cost or donated land to house activities and equines for adaptive and therapeutic riding, packing and camping. Participates would learn on site how to interact with the equines, and build up the skills needed to participate in a supported and adaptive trip to access back country camping and packing with the use of equines. There would be involvement from physical therapists, occupational therapists, and mental health providers as needed to support individuals growth and opportunities with the animals.
I have a background in small scale farming and previously managed 60 acres of irrigated pasture. I raise, train and use mammoth donkeys, mules, and horses.

My hope is to find land that already has electricity and water on site, and ideally is at least fenced on the perimeter. However, I am willing to add fencing as needed, and do land improvements where there are long-term commitments to my usage of the land. I am also open to purchasing land if affordable for my purpose.
If resources were available on the land to add food and/or hay production, other animals, honey, bees, etc, I would be interested in pursuing that as well.
