Ecologist seeking land partnership to build healthy soil, grow healthy food, and for long-term community growth.
Goals, Values, Vision
My goal is to steward land in a way that builds healthy soil in order to grow healthy food and strengthen community. I am an ecologist and geospatial scientist with training in land management and rural and urban sustainability in both the Four Corners region and the Denver metro area. My vision is a regenerative, organic operation grounded in a “triple bottom line” ethic that prioritizes environmental and social health alongside long-term economic stability. I value listening to the land and to people, phased growth, and aligning production with local needs through direct relationships and regional food systems.

Production Practices
Additional Details
My approach is regenerative and organic, focused on rebuilding soil as the foundation of productive agriculture. I prioritize biodiversity through polycropping and integrated livestock where appropriate, minimize disturbance, and avoid petroleum-based pesticides and herbicides. I design closed-loop systems that reduce external inputs and create cascading ecological benefits. I am interested in integrating renewable energy, agroecological design, and careful monitoring of outcomes, starting simply and scaling practices thoughtfully based on what the land supports best.

Desired Infrastructure
Equipment and Infrastructure Details
I am comfortable starting with a bare or lightly developed property and building infrastructure intentionally from the ground up. My goal is to design efficient, low-impact systems that run on renewable energy, including solar and other appropriate technologies. Infrastructure would be phased and practical: water systems, fencing, soil-building features, simple storage, and workspace as needed. I value flexibility in housing and operations and am open to temporary or modest solutions while establishing the land, always prioritizing durability, stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
