Goals, Values, Vision
I have been a farm laborer for the past 10 years traveling across the country learning how other people grow and live. During my travels I have also been seeking a town to put down roots for my own family. Sustainability and simplicity have always been my priority. It is amazing to have the privilege to live in tune with the seasons, and to provide home grown food for others. I want to build a small farm that will continue for many generations and will serve as a place for families and children to gather for community events.
Other than farming I sew quilts and alter clothes professionally. I trained as a seamstress after highschool. I am a slow and steady type of person.

Additional Details
Many of the farms I have worked on implement permaculture design, so I have learned the ropes there and continue to learn how to create balance with the land while farming.

I plan to create some fenced areas to keep wildlife from eating the crops. It would be great to build a shed for tools and harvest. As well as making some small hoop houses to extend the growing season just a bit.
