I am the whole package plus some. Young, first generational woman farmer seeking a lease to own agreement.

Long term vision is a collective of farmers and farm organizations cultivating the next generation of growers through education, classes, on site living farmer quarters built from adobe earthship, compost restrooms and water saving showers, regenerative farming methods of no till, soil microbial restoration, inoculated charcoal, companion planting, orchards, closed loop sustainable systems like Joel Salatin rotational grazing and eletroculture.

Additional Details

My business plan is from 2024 application for my current 3 year lease in Lakewood Colorado on a multigenerational 2.5 acre plot. I am unsure of the duration I will be welcomed on the space. Since I do not own the land, starting long term plantings such as perennial pollinator sections, native grasses and fruit trees makes it hard. I would update my business plan from the experience gathered from 2024 growing season: starting with 40 crop varieties and by the end of the season selecting 6-4 crops to dial in as cash crops. Evaluating which livestock keeping is worth the work, energy, effort for return. All my crops are pre-sold before a single seed is sowed. All my eggs are pre-sold too.

Equipment and Infrastructure Details

A good water source is essential - either multiple agricultural wells and/or ability to drill one without permit or permit already grandfather in, a spring or river access, agricultural water shares, ponds, cisterns, irrigation pre-setup would be ideal. Ability to live on site to farm is a must. Open pastures for animals to rotational graze, scale up to egg mobile. Animal barns or ability to build warm/shade structures for animals' wellbeing and longevity. Greenhouse/hoop house would be a nice gravy on top or ability to build a GNAT, in ground greenhouse for year round growing.
