Additional Details
We plan to use organic and regenerative agricultural practices, with the long-term goal of pursuing organic certification. We want to build healthy, living soil through composting, crop rotation, diverse plantings, perennial crops, responsible grazing, and other regenerative practices. We plan to avoid synthetic pesticides and unnecessary chemical inputs while using natural, physical, and biological methods to protect crops from pests and wildlife. We also want to incorporate native plants, pollinator habitat, agroforestry, and permaculture principles where appropriate. Our goal is to create a clean, healthy, low-toxicity environment with our soil, crops, animals, and surrounding ecosystem.
