Veteran family seeking Colorado land to build a regenerative farm, healing homestead & veteran-focused sanctuary.

Our vision is to build a sustainable, diversified family farm rooted in stewardship, self-sufficiency and service. We plan to raise livestock, grow food and medicinal plants, utilize regenerative practices, and develop grazing and land-management programs. A central part of our long-term vision is working with mustangs and creating opportunities for veterans to experience the healing, purpose and connection found through agriculture and animals. We bring experience in animal care, training, land improvement, gardening and hands-on problem solving, with the goal of building a productive farm that strengthens our family and serves our community.

  • Organic Practice
  • Regenerative
  • Controlled Environment

Additional Details

The Unbroken Post is building a regenerative, small-scale farm centered on responsible land stewardship, soil health, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. We plan to use organic growing practices, composting, water conservation and rainwater catchment, rotational grazing, and integrated livestock systems. Our goal is to improve the land rather than simply use it, while producing food for our family and local community. We hope to incorporate gardens, greenhouse production, poultry, goats, and other livestock using low-input, natural practices whenever possible.

Equipment and Infrastructure Details

Reliable year-round water is a priority, including a well or domestic/agricultural water source with hydrants or spigots accessible to livestock and growing areas. We need secure perimeter and cross-fencing, livestock shelters/barns, corrals or pens, and space for hay/feed storage. Electrical service and vehicle/trailer access are important. Existing greenhouse, irrigation, pond, barn/shop, or animal facilities would be a major benefit, but we are also open to land where these can be developed over time. Infrastructure should support horses, goats, poultry, gardens and regenerative agriculture.
