Goals, Values, Vision
We have been honing our skills in small scale market gardening and season extension for vegetables flowers and herbs for over ten years in arid western climates and high elevation. We are seeking a forever farm where we can begin to invest in perennial agriculture and ecological land stewardship for long term productivity serving the community of Colorado eaters and restoration of our favorite place on earth. Trained in landscape design and permaculture principles as well, a business plan would depend on the conditions and circumstances of the land and market.

We have completed apprenticeships in permaculture on production urban farms, the ecological agriculture program at Evergreen State, a Master's certification in landscape architecture from University of Colorado in Denver and owned our own 1.5 acre, 150k annual revenue low till vegetable operation in the mountain valley outside Santa Fe New Mexico for six years. We have exceptional references who can speak to our land stewardship, employee management, tenancy and more.

For a competitive vegetable and flower operation we desire the ability to irrigate from well, but we also have plenty of experience working with acequia/surface/ditch water. We would like a greenhouse or ability to build a greenhouse, ideally with electric, in order start all own plants. We have extensive experience working with high tunnels and caterpillar tunnels for year round growing in extreme climates.
