We need a farmer to maintain the land. They can keep all the proceeds of what they produce. We do not charge rent.

We want someone to use the property for some sort of farming or agricultural activity.

It could be to generate hay, or to feed animals, or to grow any kind of plant or vegetable, etc.

Whoever does it would need to provide us once a year proof that they sold what they grew or farmed, such as an invoice for selling hay or plant or vegetable, or an invoice for selling a goat or milk etc.

We would be prepared to pay them a nominal amount to actually farm the property.

Quality of Land

The property that we want to farm is 7.5 acres, (The detention pond on the north part of this property is an additional 2.5 acres). The land is farm ready and the last tenant used it to bale hay but can be used in other ways.

Water Rights

I have water rights.

Water Source

Irrigation Ditch, Pond (with surface rights)

Will the landholder live on site?

No

No, the property does not have a livable structure, but may allow temporary housing

Would the property qualify for organic certification?
